There's a Star Inside Of You

Ahh this is so damn refreshing!!(like sprite-product placement-get at me coca-cola we can talk biz lol) I mean the gangsta rap is dope and all..and there are times when i just wanna pump the hardest most gangsta ish('eff the world' moments). But at the end of the day, that stuff can get boring and repetitive. And everybody seems to be saying the same thing, which is why i like this so much. Those who know me will know that i listen to a lot of so called 'real' hiphop. And you will also know that i pump g-unit. But personally i believe this kind of music is superior. Some uplifting, inspirational, feel good music - cos at the end of the day, thats what music should be i think. Yeah its entertainment, but at the same time it influences alot of people, including me. You wont find any video ho's, spinning rims, 9mm's or anything like that in this vid. Just plain old GOOD music. Thanks buddens, u made my day.



And just to prove exactly what i was saying above, here's something completely different that i am feeling at the moment. I hope this is a sign that the new g-unit album is gon live up to the 'Beg For Mercy' standards, cos this is ILL!

Monday...

Well I'm up 2-0! Both results went my way on the weekend..woohooo!! The Springboks are WORLD CHAMPIONS!!! Liverpool also won, which was a great start to the weekend. I then hit club to kill some time and linked up with my boy wisdom tooth (check out his music -the guy is too ill). Had a dope time at club...some funny ish was goin down. Then made it home just in time to watch the rugby. I only got to sleep at 8am on sunday, but it was all worth it! Congrats to South Africa. They had a whitewash of awards too: Bryan Habana won IRB player of the year, Jake White got coach of the year, and South Africa won team of the year. All in all it was a good weekend, and monday came way too fast as usual. Im out. Peace

England rugby practice was delayed for two hours this afternoon after a player reported finding a white powdery substance on the practice ground.
Head coach Ashton immediately suspended practice while the police were called to investigate.
After a complete forensic search Scotland Yard determined that the white stuff which was unknown to the players was in fact the try line.
Practice was continued as police were happy the players were unlikely to encounter the substance again.

Double Header - The weekend preview

Today is a big day on the sporting calendar!!



First up, my beloved Liverpool take on Everton in the HUGE merseyside derby. This is always a MASSIVE game with the huge rivalry and today is no exception. Its really important for us because after such a strong start to the season, we have been really poor recently and have performed miserably. A loss today could really destroy our season..but a win would put us right back on track and boost the confidence of everybody! I cant wait. These are the games where you see the passion of the EPL, and i wouldnt be surprised if we see a red card as frustation sets in and tempers flare! Stevie G hasnt really found form yet this season so lets hope today is the day he gets back to his best! For everton, Mikel Arteta has been excellent for them this season and will play an important part in the midfield battle where the game could be won or lost today. The bookies have us as favourites, and rightfully so, but on derby days like these form goes out the window and the pride of merseyside is at stake! YNWA!





And if that wasnt enough to get me excited for the weekend, its RUGBY WORLD CUP FINAL time!!! The springboks are up against the english, and will be looking for the same result they got in the group stages, a 36-0 South African victory. Im sure it will be a lot closer than that, but i am still confident that the boks can win this game fairly comfortably. As long as they play as well as they have been in this tournament, they are cleary the better side, and should be too strong for the valiant english who are a bit of a surprise finalist. Bryan Habana is equal with Jonah Lomu's record of tries scored in a world cup, and he will be looking to break that record with another try today. For the English, hope will rest once again on the shoulders (well, boot) of Johnny Wilkinson. It will be a tough game in the forwards, with two of the best packs in the world, and the team that is able to gain the advantage at the breakdowns, will make it extremely difficult for the opposition.

Damn its a mouth-watering thought...the build-up is already getting to me. I just want the games to start! Hopefully this time 2mrw i will be celebrating a Liverpool and Springbok victory!! COME ON BOYS!!!

Boks too strong..

BOKKE BOKKE!! A dominating display by the boks as they easily disposed of an in-form argentina side. The boks never really looked worried and they cruised to a 37-13 win to set up a final against the english next weekend. Habana(pic)scored two tries and Percy kicked 7 from 7. Poor poms don't know what they in for!

Wilkinson boots French out

I do kinda have a soft spot for the english, since its my bloodline and all..but i never thought i'd be happy to see the poms win a rugby game, except this one! Im glad the french are out..i had my ear chewed off by my french homeys after they beat the all blacks! Now its up to the Boks to beat the Pumas in a few hours time and set up a meeting with the poms in the final. (And for that one, I will NOT be supporting the english!) COME ON BOKKE!!!
